Common questions
Every generation returns the same fixed layout: six 1080 × 1350 slides — a photoreal hero image over a bold condensed headline — with a caption and hashtags drafted from the source article, ready to publish to Instagram. In branded mode you can add an optional seventh call-to-action slide.
A single carousel is $2.99 pay-as-you-go — no subscription and no trial. Plans start at $19.99/month for a monthly carousel allowance and more connected Instagram accounts, and subscribers can top up 25 extra carousels for $29.99 (about $1.20 each). One carousel costs the same (4 credits) no matter how many accounts it publishes to, and the reel add-on — unlocked on Pro and Agency — costs 4 credits more.
Instagram’s API only allows publishing from Business and Creator accounts — a personal account cannot publish through any third-party tool, Carogen included. You can still connect a personal account, and onboarding walks you through the free switch to Business or Creator.
If generation hard-fails, your credits are refunded automatically — you never pay for a carousel that was not produced. If Instagram rejects the publish on one of your accounts, the generation was already paid for so there is no refund, but you can retry that account as often as you need at no extra cost.
Yes, always. Every publish is sent to Instagram flagged as AI-generated, with no option to turn that off, and we do not strip content-provenance metadata from the images.
Named entities and factual claims are carried over verbatim from the source article, and the original article URL is attached to every carousel as a “View source” link — in the preview and again on the publish screen — so you can verify every claim before anything goes out.
